***The 42-gauge Fused Clapton has 2 pieces of 26-gauge Nichrome 80 in the core, and is flawlessly, tightly wrapped with VERY THIN 42-gauge wire. The lower gauge core wire creates durability and hard hitting, while the 42-gauge fuse provides next level flavor.

The smaller size, achieved through a 42-gauge fuse, results in this variant having less mass, even more enhanced flavor, higher ohms, and a faster ramp-up time.

****Due to the thin fuse wire, do not scrape these, or any other coil, especially with anything sharp.

***If you must touch the fuse wire during the installation of any build, do so gently and use a rounded object, such as a rounded coil jig. DO NOT SCRAPE WITH TWEEZERS.

The primary differences between the original Fused Clapton and the new 42-gauge Fused Clapton are the type of fuse wire and the price. Compared to the OG Fused Claptons, the 42-gauge Fused has +0.04 Ohms and costs 1 dollar more per set.

The price increase is due to the fact that wrapping the Exotic Fused Clapton with 42-gauge wire is "harder," takes longer, and costs more to produce. Hence, the slight price increase.
